1989-1993, B.A. Economics, Minors in 1. Labor + Industrial Relations and 2. Business

 

What specific factors led you to attend Penn State?

It was close to home and I could work. Reputation of the University. Attended both Brandywine (Delaware County) and University Park

 

Can you share your most memorable experience during college?

Studying in Oxford, England through Penn State – graduate – non-degree international economics

 

Were there any professors, mentors, or courses that had a significant impact on your academic or personal development?

Yes – too many to name.

Especially Dr. Philip Klein at University Park

 

Did you engage in any extracurricular activities, clubs, or organizations during your time at Penn State?

Penn State Economics Association (University Park)

 

How did your Penn State education prepare you for your career or future endeavors?

Knowledge is power. Penn State prepared me very well. The knowledge gained from my Penn State education helped me elevate my career and has even enabled me to found my own company.

 

How has your Penn State network or alumni connections played a role in your professional life?

It has created business opportunities.

 

What advice do you have for current or future Penn State students looking to make the most of their university experience?

Take advantage of the opportunities presented to you.
