When did you attend Penn State, and what was your major?
Fall 2012 through Fall 2015. I majored in Human Development and Family Studies

 

What specific factors led you to attend Penn State?

Personal connections made during a campus visit. Love the personal feel with the big school name.

 

Can you share your most memorable experience during college?

Conducting research at the Delaware Children’s Museum with Dr. Zosh and presenting the research at the capitol building.

 

Were there any professors, mentors, or courses that had a significant impact on your academic or personal development?

Dr. Zosh – Meeting her before I accepted and chose Brandywine influenced my decision to come here. She was my academic advisor, honors advisor, and research advisor. With her support with planning, I was able to graduate a semester early.

 

Did you engage in any extracurricular activities, clubs, or organizations during your time at Penn State?

How did your Penn State education prepare you for your career or future endeavors?

The internship during my final semester gave me real-life experience to build skills that I used during my career.

 

How has your Penn State network or alumni connections played a role in your professional life?

Job connections, recognition of a great school (conversation starter).

 

What advice do you have for current or future Penn State students looking to make the most of their university experience?

Get involved and make as many connections as you can.

Say “yes” even when you are scared to (push outside of your conform zone).
