What specific factors led you to attend Penn State?

The Nursing major.

The ability to come to a commonwealth campus for the first year.

 

Can you share your most memorable experience during college?

Living at Hershey Medical Center for 2 semesters while doing several Nursing clinical rotations.

 

Were there any professors, mentors, or courses that had a significant impact on your academic or personal development?

Several Nursing professors and courses.

 

How did your Penn State education prepare you for your career or future endeavors?

It gave me a good background and theoretical basis for the start of my nursing career.

 

How has your Penn State network or alumni connections played a role in your professional life?

For a few years, I was a mentor in the Colege of Nursing’s Mentor-Mentee program; I enjoyed that and liked sharing my experience with my mentee students.

 

What advice do you have for current or future Penn State students looking to make the most of their university experience?

Take advantage of as many PSU opportunities as you can.
